Cllr Alanna Vine

Before becoming a local Councillor for Bramhall North in 2011,  Alanna worked as a Regional Director for the World Wildlife Fund for 10 years. Her responsibilities were to oversee volunteer fund raising in the North of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales and raise public awareness for the charity.  She had a team of 8 Managers working for her and regularly travelled to every part of the Region to meet the volunteers and encourage them.  

She also served as  a Magistrate on the Inner Manchester Bench for several years, sitting on both the Adult and Junior benches.

As a Councillor,  Alanna sits on the following committees :-

Adults & Communities Scrutiny committee

Licensing committee

Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme South Area committee 

She is a governor of two local schools - Queensgate Primary and Bramhall High School.

Alanna has lived in Bramhall for 17 years with her husband Michael.  Her children and grandchildren also live in the Bramhall area.
