Linda has been a Councillor for 4 years.  She chairs the Children and Young People's Scrutiny Committee, and is a member of the following committees-  the Adult & Comunities Scrutiny Committee, the Scrutiny Review Panel - Safeguarding & Personalisation, the Scrutiny Co-ordination Committee.  She is is also Deputy Chairman of the Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee.

Linda is a past Mayoress of Stockport, former Training and Recruitment Manager for a major bank. She is a School Governor and a volunteer fundraiser for many local Stockport charities.  She is also a long-standing campaigner on animal welfare issues.

 Linda is always available to respond promptly to enquiries and she continues to work tirelessly for all the residents of Bramhall North Ward comprising Bramhall and part of Hazel Grove.
