Cllr Lisa Walker

Lisa has lived in the Cheadle Constituency most of her life. She grew up in Heald Green attending Kingsway High School and then later Stockport College of Technology.  For the last 16 years Lisa has worked in the city centre of Manchester as a Personal Assistant to a Director of a large international company.

Lisa became involved in local politics a number of years ago when she consulted with Cllr. Linda  and Ken Holt, Bramhall North Conservatives and asked for their help.   With their intervention and the problem solved, Lisa realized what could be achieved by being part of the team.  After joining the Conservatives, she became part of the Management Team and then later became Constituency Chairman, standing down from this position after being elected as a Councillor.

Lisa was elected as a Councillor in (2010) and works closely with Councillor Linda Holt (2008) and Councillor Alanna Vine (2011), who are a great team ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our residents.

The committees Lisa represents Bramhall North on are as follows:

Children and Young People

Corporate Parenting (looked after children)

Licensing

Licensing sub committee

Bramhall and Cheadle Hulme South Area Committee

Lisa is also a school governor at Nevill Road Infant School.

Outside of politics Lisa likes to spend quality time with her family and friends.   When she has the time she is a keen reader  and  starting to get fitter by going to the gym!
