Recently an application for a telecommunication mast which identified the junction of Carrwood Avenue and Grasmere Crescent was made to Stockport Council.
Your Bramhall North Conservative team have worked hard to ensure that the opinions of residents were canvassed and considered as part of the application so that the correct decision would be made with the support of all residents affected in the area.
The significant majority of resident’s opinion suggested that the positioning of the mast was a major source of unease in the community.
We are delighted to provide the update that the Stockport Planning team have taken this feedback on board and have chosen to refuse prior approval for the 5G mast at this stage.
Details of the application’s refusal can be found on the Stockport Council Planning Website here -
Whilst we are delighted that residents feedback canvassed by our team has been listened to, it is worth noting that the applicant can appeal the decision. If they chose to do this, we will of course keep you informed.
In the meantime, thank you for your community support and making YOUR voices heard.
