Lisa is the Councillor for Bramhall North Ward.
Lisa has lived in the Cheadle Constituency for 40 years. Professionally, Lisa is a Business Assistant for Directors at one of the world’s largest consulting engineering companies and is a Fellow of the Institute of Administrative Management.
Lisa was elected in 2010 and has many years experience assisting and campaigning for residents locally and across the borough on various issues, such as child safe-guarding, flooding; helping to re-house residents, council tax, adult social care, and collaborative working on planning and licensing.
Lisa has held several positions on the council; Vice Chairman of Corporate Parenting (looked after children), Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Area Committee, Member of Licensing and sub- committee, Vice Chair of Adult Social Care and Board Member of the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service.
Lisa is also proud to be a Councillor Cancer Champion for Cancer Research UK.
Lisa was delighted to represent the residents of Stockport as Deputy Mayor in 2016 – 2017, attending meetings, events across the borough and Greater Manchester and raising funds for the Mayor’s Charity.
One of the current areas of focus Lisa is working on with colleagues is the flooding on Bridge Lane and the A555, meeting with council officers and cabinet members.
