Peter Crossen is our Deputy Chair Political and Conservative Candidate for Bramhall North Ward.
During the day Peter works as a Financial Crime Prevention Analyst. Originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland, Peter moved to the area 15 years ago and met his wife and has two beautiful children; his 15 year old stepdaughter and 7 year old daughter.
Peter is a keen supporter of local business. It is with this in mind that Peter is so avidly opposed to the disgraceful Greater Manchester Clean Air Zone TAX which so unfairly penalises Manchester's business owners and residents and will drive small businesses to the verge of collapse.
Peter has also been campaigning against the regressive Council Tax hike proposed by the Lib Dem run Stockport Council who already charge the most of all Greater Manchester Council areas.
Peter has lobbied Stockport Council for the improvement in neglected roads in the ward and is determined to continue to fight for more funding in under-loved main roads and side streets across Bramhall.
In addition to this, Peter is working hard to support local community projects and events. Peter is a volunteer for the Woodford Community Council, Peter can also be regularly seen working as a volunteer on many local teams such as the Friends of Bramhall Park group and the "Mill' warm space initiative in the heart of Bramhall. Last September he undertook the challenge of running 100km’s to raise much needed funding for the fantastic local Stockport charity ‘Millie’s Trust’
Eager to protect residents and communities, Peter now writes a monthly article in the Bramhall Post on the topic of Scams and Fraud. If you want to find out the latest criminal efforts to scam you out of your hard earned money, check out the Bramhall Post for advice and tips on avoiding established, new and seasonal scam efforts
