Woodford Primary School

We are delighted that the Laurus Trust has been selected to operate the new Woodford Primary School, opening in September 2022.

Before the school can open, it is required by law to inform the local community of our plans and allow you to respond to them. This is called a ‘Section 10’ public consultation.

The consultation will run from Monday 17th January to Sunday 6th March 2022.

You can view our consultation here

Interested parties, including prospective parents/carers, are warmly invited to attend our drop in sessions at Woodford War Memorial Community Centre, Chester Road, Woodford, SK7 1PS as follows:

  1. 4.30-7pm on Thursday 10th February 2022
  2. 9.30-11.30am on Tuesday 1st March 2022

At these events, you will be able to meet senior staff at the Laurus Trust as well as the Head of School for Woodford Primary. There will be plans showing the building, information on the vision for the school, curriculum, proposed admissions process and uniform.

Laurus trust want to hear your views so the Woodford community can be provided with the best school possible. Please respond to this consultation by completing the online questionnaire. Copies of the questionnaire will also be available at the drop in sessions.

To register your interest and to find out how to apply for a place apply here . Registering your interest will ensure that you are kept informed of up and coming events and any other important admissions information.
